Elf & Ant

Hi Folks,

I've just posted a brand new track: "Elf & Ant" http://www.reverbnation.com/c./poni/5314248

It's a slight detour from my usual sound, featuring live guitar and bass, it's also my first dabble with strings.
Best served chilled.

I hope you enjoy it.
Feedback is welcomed.

New stuff soon.

Hi folks,

Ok, I mean it this time. I've had a busy term and during the late hours I've been noodling away at some new stuff.
There's also some older lab rats that have been 'almost' ready for what feels like an eternity. It's hard to put a finishing touch to something when there is no apparent deadline and always a distraction ready to whisk you away.

After a long journey the result is a plethora of new sounds that I can't wait to unleash. I feel that I'm progressing and I hope people enjoy what I'm cooking up. There's a little mix of funky, trippy, jazzy and cinematic on it's way soon.

When I got into writing music I never intended to become a sound engineer, just a musician. However, I think we've reached an age where so many musicians produce their own stuff that it's hard to avoid becoming more wrapped up in the production process. This is my conflict, I'm learning the software and the technique whilst writing.

So bear with me whilst I tackle the day job and technical hurdles to bring you the next chapter in my audio adventures.

Ciao for now,
EM.
